In 1994, when we made the decision to found a loudspeaker factory, we knew right from the start: The first sound converter will be named DUKE and is going to be one of the best, maybe even the best of all...

Every time we felt like we were ready, though, our goals moved just a bit further away again, and so the search for the "ultimate" continued. In the end, we adjourned the project's release "sine die". Within the outer walls, though, we never stopped developing the idea.

We actually planned to use DUKE as an acoustic "electron-scan" microscope for our own music productions. DUKE does it all: Soundstage, nearly unlimited maximum level, extremely low distortions, neutrality, perfect timing... And the funny thing is: You don't hear these virtues - you just listen to music!
